Sunday, August 31st, 2008

If you have ever been curious in regards to what appears as camera housing situated in public places, you may be amazed that a variety of them are part of the Homeland Security camera system network.

Not all of these cameras, and not in all cities and towns are part of it, yet an ever increasing number of cameras that are in existence in the majority of cities are joining forces with different government agencies in their ongoing fight against domestic terrorism.

There have been numerous cities that have installed cameras to maintain close surveillance on big public assemblies, for instance the White House as well as around various national memorials and monuments to help identify difficulties with crowds.

The capability to have these cameras networked together into a much bigger, national type of network is giving the Homeland Security Camera System the ability to grow through the use of extra cameras from communities all around the country.

For people who don’t comprehend that this is possible, think for a moment of the internet’s availability to access your personal computer from anyplace on the planet by simply signing onto a computer and then going to a website on the network.

Begin at your home network, if there is more than one computer that is connected to internet access by way of a hub, you have the capability of get access to anything on one computer from any other computer, if in fact you have the right authorization.

If for example you have cameras that are connected to a network at your office, then access the work computer from your house, you can then bring up images connected to your work computer from your house. This is a similar system that the Homeland Security Camera system utilizes to add additional cameras and resources onto their existing systems.

Because the infrastructure is already in place in many of the larger communities, it is actually a simply task for the Homeland Security camera computer to connect to the city camera computer and get access to the images of that computer.

Certainly, you have to have permission that is granted by the community for the Homeland Security camera system to take the images from the computer. Safeguards are also put in place to stop the homeland computer from getting any type of control over a communities camera system.

The majority of Homeland Security cameras that are being utilized are not just static types of cameras. There are numerous types that are equipped with accessibility through remote means so that they can pan, zoom and tilt to more effectively monitor people or events that are within viewing range to assist in fighting the possible threat of either domestic or global terrorism.

While there are people that are not comfortable with knowing that the local and federal government can hook into any community that they want with a camera system and snatch up images from anywhere, the majority of people realize the significance of having a constant vigil for the purpose of national security.

Christian Counseling Debt and The Bible

“The king was filled with pity for him, and he released him and forgave his debt.” Matthew 18:27

Is debt biblical? It is not a sin to be in debt but the Bible does have a lot to say about being good stewards of what we have been given. The bigger sin is being too prideful to admit your condition and your current financial condition and look for help or advice. There are Christian counseling centers to help with Christian debt removal. The sooner help is sought the sooner obligations and debts can be corralled and brought under restraint. It is a humbling ordeal to go through, but you are not alone. We gain from our our life experiences to better serve the Lord and to reinforce our faith. If you have a financial situation do not wait to seek Christian Counseling Debt because someday you may be able give spiritual or financial help  to a fellow Christian, family member or co-worker.

“The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”
Proverbs 22:7

We are called to be good stewards of our money. Often times we see ourselves in debt for very good reasons. There could be an illness, rendering you unable to work. In these precarious times, we are seeing more and more people being laid off or hours cut substantially. There are regular monthly payments that are due and we may find we do not enough to pay them. Sometimes credit cards are used to pay bills and the debt begins to build. It can become overwhelming and a Christian debt elimination service may be needed.

Pray First

“Listen to me!, you can pray for anything, and if you believe, you will have it.” Mark 11:24

Take all things to the Lord in prayer.  Does this mean all things you pray for will be granted?  The Lord always answers our prayers, not in the way we may have expected or in the time frame we want. Jesus prayed when He was on earth.  He prayed while in the wilderness as well as in the Garden of Gethsemane.  Jesus prayedif it is possible may this cup be taken from me..  He still had to go through what He was sent to do, die for our sins and transgressions.  We may still have to prevail some trials for the situation we are in, but He has promised to take care of us.

Find Adoption Records

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

If you are searching for adoption records, you may or may not have any luck finding them. It has a lot to do with what type of records you are seeking. If you are looking for records for those who are still alive, possibly even for yourself, you may have problems. However, if you are working on your family tree, you may be able to find things far back in your family line. Sometimes, these are easy to find, and other times, next to impossible to locate.

When searching for your own adoption records, you may have big problems. If you have been adopted privately though a lawyer, you may not be able to open those records. If you arenít sure where or when, but you really want to find out what they say, you can seek the help of a lawyer or even a private investigator, but you should know you may not find what you are looking for. There are some services online that can search for them for you, for a fee, but you canít be sure they will find anything either. However, they are something to try when all else has failed.

When it comes to genealogy, you are going to have better luck in some cases. There are many web sites devoted to this subject, and they do have some adoption records in their files. What you can find will depend on if the adoption records have been saved, and if they have been put online. There are times when files were destroyed due to fire, or were just misplaced, and if there were not copies, that information is going to be gone forever. There are also times when names are transcribed incorrectly, so when looking for this type of information, think of possible misspellings if you arenít coming up with anything useful.

Any time you are looking for adoption records, remember to give it some time. These are also something that can be a huge goldmine for someone who is tracing a family tree but has come up against a brick wall. The reason they may not be able to go back any further might be due to an adoption that was not otherwise noted. By going back and looking for records in an area of time period, a name may pop up. Many times this is the reason why some lines stop and no one can find information on the name. That is because the name abruptly changed.

Patricia Stevenson owns and operates www.courtarrestrecords.com Court Arrest Records which finds many county records including adoption records.
